Feed Your Craft // Week 14
Working with Elise at Feed Your Craft has been such a joy. Not only because I love her products, as well as everything Brandi Kincaid designs, but because she is just a truly thoughtful person. I had mentioned a while back that I was mad at myself for not grabbing the View From Here kit before it sold out. A few weeks later, one magically appeared in my mailbox along with the sweetest note. Thank you, Elise! This spread is a mix of that kit (no longer available), and the Tough Stuff flat pack.
So, this pocket page layout is our week fourteen. Side note: how is it possible that despite having an obligation to create pocket page/Project Life spreads (which I love to do)...I am still nowhere near up-to-date on this album? Seriously. This was a themed week at school for Ava, as well as a prep week before heading out for spring break. Hence the scary overdose on self-tanner, where I accidentally changed my ethnicity.
Did you know the flat packs include 3x4 cards as well as die cuts and tags? I love them. The left, bottom card on the right side is from that pack and I've sprinkled other pieces throughout. I've done my typical journaling on vellum thing (don't look too close, there's a typo that I didn't see till after stapling it to the card).
Sorry this post is a bit brief. I'm wrapping up the month of July in a bit of a panic...we've got two birthdays (a 1st and a 5th!) and the first day of kindergarten in the same week. Fingers crossed. Have a great week!
