Personal Album // Milestone
I created this spread to celebrate a big personal milestone: getting back to my pre-fertility treatment weight. Exactly 65 pounds in five months. Boom. I'm not going to lie and say it was easy or fun. It wasn't. I think that's why I'm especially proud of achieving this goal. If I can do it, I promise anyone can.
The jumping off point for the spread was actually the FitBit "Weight Goal Met" screenshot. I loved the vibrant pink and yellow combination. The before and after shots are Paislee Press Photoshop templates. In hindsight, I wish I would have title them "Then" and "Now" instead of "Before" and "After." The sentiment feels better. What can you do? The yellow what's next card is from Feed Your Craft's January kit, which is unfortunately sold out. You've got this is from a great digital set by the very talented Christine Herrin. The rest of the cards are Studio Calico, from various documenter sets. I currently keep my cards organized by color. That's been great for creating, but not so great for sourcing. I'm thinking about changing my system.
One of my absolute favorite things to do right now is print my journaling on vellum and either cut it or just slide it in as an overlay. I actually love my handwriting, but I'm not loving it in my pocket page albums. The other embellishments from this spread are Dear Lizzy Lovely Day. The colors were a perfect fit.
I hope you liked this spread. It's been one of my favorites so far.
